Design

UI/UX Design

Design that starts from user evidence and ends in a coded design system engineers can actually build from. We measure success in task completion and conversion, not in how the mockups photograph.

Capabilities

What this actually involves

The specific work, not a list of technologies.

User research

Interviews, usability testing and behavioural analytics that establish where users actually struggle, rather than where stakeholders assume they do.

Interaction design

Flows, states and edge cases designed in full — empty, loading, error and permission states included, so engineering is not left guessing.

Design systems

Token-driven libraries in Figma mirrored one-to-one in code, so the interface stays consistent as the team and product grow.

Accessibility

WCAG AA built into the design phase: contrast, focus order, target sizes and screen-reader semantics specified before handover.

Deliverables

What you receive

Everything below transfers to you on completion — code, infrastructure and documentation included.
  • Research findings and prioritised usability issues
  • Wireframes and interactive prototypes
  • High-fidelity interface designs for all states
  • Design tokens and component documentation
  • Accessibility annotations for engineering
  • Usability test recordings and recommendations

Ideal for

  • Products with strong traffic but weak conversion
  • Enterprise tools with steep learning curves
  • Teams scaling past a single designer

Common questions

What clients ask first

If your question isn't here, ask it directly — you'll get a straight answer.

Can you design without a research phase?

We can, and sometimes budget requires it. We will tell you which decisions are then based on convention rather than evidence, so you know where the risk sits.

Do you hand off to our engineers?

Yes. Handover includes tokens, component specs, accessibility annotations and a walkthrough session. Where we also build, the system is implemented in code as part of delivery.

How do you measure design success?

We agree metrics up front — completion rate, time on task, conversion, support volume — and instrument them so the change is provable after launch.
